Leaves usually reduced to phyllodia which is modified from petioles, pinnately compound leaves present on seedling or rarely present on mature plant; ; phyllodia alternately arranged on branches, flat, leathery, lanceolate in shape, 6 -10 × 0.5 - 1.3 cm, straight or slightly falcate, narrowed to both ends.
