Supplementary information
Dioecious, rarely monoecious; bark greyish brown, fissured. Leaves dimorphic; needlelike leaves present on young and adult trees, decussate or in whorls of 3, nearly lanceolate, 6- 12mm; scalelike leaves present on adult trees, decussate, closely appressed, 2.5- 5mm, abaxially with an elliptic slightly concave gland near center of leaf. Cone scales of seed cone connate.
