Supplementary information
Winter buds red-brown, scales imbricate. Leaves sometimes variously lobed, pubescent along veins abaxially. Male spike pendulous, 2–3.5 cm, densely white villose. Male flowers: perianth-lobes broad-elliptic, greenish; anther globose or reniform. Female spike 1–2 cm.
