Supplementary information
Deciduous, aromatic shrub or small tree. Terminal buds conical, pubescent. Umbel 4-6 flowered, solitary or fascicled. Staminate flowers with 9 fertile stamens, arranged in 3 whorls, the inner whorl of stamens bearing two stalked gland at the base, filament pubescent on the lower part. Pistillate flower with 9 staminodes, staminodes pubescent on the lower part. Pedicels slightly enlarged at the apex during fruiting. The species is a source of essential oil. Sunny slop is also the habitat of it. Flowering in February to March.
